THE BOOKING PROCESS

1a) To secure your date, a signed agreement (booking form) is required along with a non refundable/non transferable booking fee of £80.00 per booking (not per person).

1b) Once I have received your booking form and fee, It can take up to 48 hours to receive your booking confirmation.

1c) Booking forms and fees must be sent within 7 days of receiving the booking form link, If failure to do so your date will be released again.

BRIDAL PREVIEW APPOINTMENTS

2a) Previews will usually take place 2-6 months prior to the wedding. I include trials in my packages because i believe they are of the utmost importance. If you choose to book a trial only then wish to book me for the day after, this will be charged at 'a on the day price', not as a package.

2b) In the event you wish to not have a bridal preview, Id like to bring to your attention that this can lengthen the application time on the day of the wedding which may cause added pressure to yourself (the client) especially if you want to change the look entirely, there may not be time to do so.

2c) Preview appointments will be held at your home address unless you are not within my catchment area, then a salon appointment will be required. In salon appointments will be designated to Saturdays mostly. Salon appointments are only offered to those not within my catchment area.

2d) In the unfortunate event you wish to not proceed with the booking after your Preview, you can use your booking fee to pay for your preview appointment. You will also be invoiced for any remaining balance owed if any other bridal party previews were booked.

2e) Preview appointments are approximately around 2-2.5 hours for bride and an additional 60 minutes per bridal party members requiring a Preview appointment. If you have a large bridal party all requiring Previews this may need to be split over 2 appointments.

2f) If you would like another Preview appointment to explore a different look, this will be chargeable at the same rate.

CONSULTATIONS

3a) Prior to your Preview/ wedding day, you will be sent a digital Questionnaire about you and your makeup preferences. This is my design consultation. All this information allows me to get to know you, your skin, what you like, what you don't like etc, and allows me to create your bespoke look.I can highly appreciate you are super busy, so if you do not get time to complete this, this may lengthen your preview/ application

3b) Unfortunately if you are not having a preview and do not complete the digital form, A quick verbal consultation will have to be carried out prior to your application, this unfortunately means you will not benefit fully from the in-depth bespoke consultation.

TRAVEL

4a) I only cover areas within my designated catchment area, This mostly covers Warwickshire/ Worcestershire and the Cotswolds area. Please consider your home address, venue and prep location before booking.

4b) Travel costs are free for the first 15 miles each way (30 miles roundtrip) from B97 . After this distance, a mileage fee per mile will occur (using WAZE app). This is subject to change.

4c) If parking charges apply at your venue, this will be chargeable to the client.

4d) If you cannot access your venue until a certain time or for any other reason, it may be necessary to begin at another venue. For this reason an additional fee will occur. This is to cover the time of packaging up my kit, moving venues, unpacking and resetting up my station.

4e) I always leave earlier than i need to ensure i arrive in good time and account for traffic. If i am stuck in traffic due to circumstances out of my control , Timings will need to be addressed which may result in another alternative (see section 8)

PAYMENTS

5a) A booking fee will be required at the time of booking to secure your date. This will be deducted from your final amount for services implemented. (please see my cancellation policy)

5b)Your second instalment will be due after your Bridal preview appointment has taken place.

5c) The remaining balance will be invoiced to you 2 weeks before the wedding. You will have 7 days to pay this. Meaning the remaining balance will need to be paid by 1 weeks before the wedding. If your wedding was booked before 21/06/2024 your final balance will be invoiced 6 weeks prior to the day, you will have 14 days to pay this, This is due to an update in my T&Cs.

5d)Payments need to be paid by bank transfer. If you wish to pay in cash on the day, please note: i will not have change available and you will need to notify me of this by 4 weeks prior to the wedding day. All cash payments must be made upfront before any services are carried out.

5e) If any additional costs occur on the day, An additional invoice will be sent after the wedding and will be chargeable to YOU, the person i have the booking with. 6g)Should you wish to postpone your wedding, If I am available for your new date a small fee of £25.00 will occur to cover administrative costs, If I am not available for your new date cancellation terms apply. Your quote will be updated to the current pricing for your new date.

CONTACT AND COMMUNICATION

9a) The agreement i have is solely with the person who completed and signed the booking form.

9b) If you have booked on behalf of the bride, the agreement is with you. I highly recommend the bride is made aware of this and not allow this to be a surprise for the bride. This may result in loss of monies for you, should the bride want to go in a different direction.

9c) In the event i cannot get hold of you through all means of contact, I (the artist) reserves the right to terminate the agreement. This will be a last resort and i will try my utmost to ensure this does not happen. 9e) To achieve my 5* service, i like to ensure great contact with my clients. I will ask lots of questions and send across multiple forms/ information that will help achievethe best possible results and allow me to collect all the information i need. LOCATION

10a) Bridal previews will be held at your home address unless you are within my designated catchment area, your preview appointment will be held in salon located B80.

10b) I do not travel to some areas even within Warwickshire/Worcestershire like central Birmingham. This is my choice.

10c) It is the clients responsibility to ensure;
  • Address details are correct
  • Clear directions are given
  • The artist is informed of any parking requirements/restrictions satellite Photograph of house may be needed in case of loss of signal or dark mornings which make house numbers difficult to spot.
  • The artist is informed of large sets of stairs or anything that may make it difficult to access with kit.
  • If the venue is a hotel, the artist will need to know room number

10d) Please ensure enough space for the artist to set up. Hotel rooms have limited space and poor lighting. Please factor in space for your makeup artist and hair stylist.

10e) Many venues do not allow access until a certain time, this would most likely mean that if we cannot begin early, the time frame is not possible. This would require usto begin at another location. I strongly advise to avoid this as we will need to add more time and cost on to account for packing up, changing venues and unpacking. This could cause added pressure and stress to the bride & bridal party. You could ask if you could pay to gain access earlier, or we could try and find an additionalartist but i cant guarantee i can supply one for you.

ALLERGIES

11a) All clients will be asked on many occasions whether you have any allergies or contraindications. If someone does have an allergy, an allergy form will be provided and will need to be signed prior to any makeup application.

11f) sensitivity can occur to new products even if you do not have sensitive skin or allergic to anything. This is why a Preview appointment is recommended. The artist will not be held liable for any reactions that occur.

11g) All makeup is properly sterilised and sanitized with isopropyl alcohol, brushes are cleaned with antibacterial brush cleaner between clients, applicators are not reused.

11h) Allergies and contra-indications will be asked prior to the wedding day, this allows the artist to thoroughly check ingredients list. Failure to inform the artist prior to the wedding day may result in refusal of application.

11i) It is the clients responsibility to inform the artist of any allergies, contraindications, illnesses, pregnancies, disabilities, fears or phobias within the bridal party that may affect services from being carried out.

11j) The client may request or require patch tests prior to application.

11k) All makeup is branded /well known brands. Danielle Quirke Makeup Artistry does not claim to be a cruelty free or vegan artist but her kit contains some products that fit this criteria . Nor does she claim that all makeup will stay on all day.

TIMINGS

12a)The artist will provide a suggested timeline for the wedding day. This may not be sent until 4-6 weeks prior the wedding but can be requested sooner. This suggested timeline will be sent once final numbers are confirmed .

12b) Timings may differ from the timeline on the day to ensure time limits are met. The artist may feel its best to swap people around if we are running behind or a head of schedule.

12c) It is the brides responsibility to ensure some one is available for makeup as soon as the artist is set up or the start time on the suggested timeline.

12d) The artist is not responsible for delays if bridal party members do not make themselves available when it is their turn or when they are scheduled. All toilet trips, application of contact lenses, snacks/drinks and venue checks should be carried out in good time prior to their time slot.

12e) The artist is not responsible for delays if the bridal party arrive late, use mobile phones during application or anything else that prolongs application or causes the artist to stop working.

12f) The artists suggested timeline allows all makeup to be completed by 1 hour before service. If you wish to be ready early than 1 hour before service, the client needs to make the artist aware of this at the time of booking.

12g) The artists suggested timeline allows all makeup to be completed 1 hour before service, this is a guide. If the artist runs into delays this could mean we finish much closer to the time of your service. The bride will never be last to ensure they have plenty of time to get ready in this event.

12h) In the unlikely event the artist cannot stay for touch ups right up until you leave for your ceremony you will be notified prior to booking.

12i) All junior and flower girl makeup must be discussed prior to wedding day to ensure enough time has been factored in.

12j) Any additional makeup added on the day may be refused if we are behind schedule or the artist has any concerns regarding allergies or contraindications (see section 11)

13g) Please ensure the artist is credited. It is the clients responsibility to inform all vendors of all other suppliers so they can credit accordingly.

13h) The artists sole responsibility is to provide makeup services to all that have booked my services. Although i aim to be as cooperative as possible it is not always possible to stage photos if we are behind or it interrupts the makeup schedule.

13f) The Artist will not pose or pretend to apply makeup to anyone that has not booked my services for photographs as this is not a representation of my work.
